Someone stole a design I did for Problogger and thinks there’s nothing wrong with it. I work bloody hard on blog designs and to have my work stolen is enfuriating. He’s removed the header menu now to make it look a little different, but the theme is still the same. I’m. Not. Impressed. Right. Now.

Update: The stampede of bloggers trying to rid the world of wrong-doing succeeded today. Thanks for all the support guys.

  6. i missed the hoopla. i know how it feels though.. to have personal work ripped and repackaged as someone else’s. justice has been served. i read through the comments on amblogger and stopped after half. any retorts by the site owner seemed “childish” as Michele stated above.

    You’ve been hired to do a fair number of designs for Canadian sites and blogs, we are happy to pay for your outstanding work.
    He seemed to have difficulty understanding design copyright etc. He didn’t seem to grasp the concepts of original and professional design.
    I’m glad people spoke up. I think you and Darren handled yourselves well.

    I notice he made a couple of minor changes…
    I’m ashamed my befuddled countryman ripped you off.

  9. That guy is absolute mad idiot. If you read the post in his blog, he says the he did this delibrately to gain attention. People using these kinda negative means has definitely risen and we have to ask the question, don’t people have a heart/

    The guy has changed a couple of things now though and the best way we punish him is by not viewing his blog and giving him the hits we need.

    BTW, nice blog Rachel and I really like this design. It is creative and unique.
